Trutch is a tight gas resource play producing from the sands of the Triassic Halfway formation. The Trutch property is situated northwest of the Tommy Lakes Halfway Field, which is a large gas accumulation with original gas in place (OGIP) numbers of 1.17 TCF.
Trutch is a winter access property with numerous development locations and exploration potential. The development of the Halfway formation is repeatable and provides Hemisphere with a Foundation Play to build production, reserves and cash flow. The Trutch property has multi-zone potential, which provides exploration upside within other formations such as: Charlie Lake, Artex, Doig, Montney, Debolt and Slave Point.
Hemisphere Energy has a 19.5% to 65% working interest in over 15,000 acres of land with various rights from surface to basement in the Trutch property. The company has 4 Halfway gas wells on production and owns an interest in an existing pipeline.
