Trutch is a liquids-rich natural gas resource play producing from the sands of the Halfway formation. The Trutch property is situated northwest of the Tommy Lakes Halfway Field, which is a large gas accumulation with original-gas-in-place (OGIP) numbers of over 1 TCF.
The Trutch property provides long-life, stable production numerous horizontal development drilling locations as well as significant exploration potential. The development of the Halfway formation is repeatable and gives Hemisphere a Liquids-Rich Natural Gas Foundation Play to build production, reserves and cash flow in northeast British Columbia. The Trutch property has multiple zones of potential, which provides exploration upside within other formations such as: Charlie Lake, Doig, Montney, Debolt and Slave Point.
Hemisphere Energy has a 30% to 100% working interest in over 5,000 net acres of land with various rights from surface to basement in the Trutch property. The company has 4 Halfway gas wells on production and owns an interest in an existing pipeline.
